SONAG Organization
The School of Nursing Affinity Group, known as SONAG, was organized in 2009, and is an affiliate member of the NC A&T State University Alumni Association.
What is an Affinity Group?
A bona fide Affinity Group:
Shall be a group organized by the alumni of a college or school; Represents the entire alumni of the college or school of NC A&T State University; Sanctioned by the administration of the college or school Established constitution and by-laws; and has, at a minimum, received a charter from the North Carolina Secretary of State
Our Mission
Our mission is to:

Provide consultation and advice on matters brought before the Affinity group by faculty, staff and students;

Support the school of nursing in providing quality education;

Support recruitment efforts of qualified faculty and students;
-
Provide scholarships to students;
-
Provide a professional network of influence and prestige among alumni; and
-
Foster an esprit de corps among graduates.
